Terms of Service - The Regulated Bridge
Effective Date: May 15, 2026
Welcome to The Regulated Bridge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at theregulatedbridge.com (the "Site"), including any content, functionality, services, and products offered on or through the Site, such as parenting coaching, neurodivergent support services, educational advocacy, and the "Bridge Journal: Daily Reflection" (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Site (including by browsing, purchasing, downloading, creating an account (if available), signing up for emails, or otherwise interacting with the Site), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Introduction / Agreement to Terms
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site. You agree that:
Your use of the Site is your acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use the Site on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person or entity to these Terms.
2. Services & Products (Strategic, Educational, Consultative)
The Regulated Bridge provides strategic, educational, and consultative services for neurodivergent parents raising children with complex needs. Our work may include auditing, mapping, and implementation support related to household systems, regulation supports, and school/education navigation.
You understand and agree that our Services are not clinical and are not presented as clinical. We do not offer or perform clinical services, and we explicitly forbid the use of clinical framing for our work, including but not limited to: “diagnosis,” “treatment,” “therapy,” “patient,” “clinician,” “medical provider,” or similar clinical terms.
We may also offer physical and/or digital products through the Site, including but not limited to the "Bridge Journal: Daily Reflection" and related downloadable resources (collectively, "Products").
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services or Products at any time. Any new features or offerings added to the Site will also be subject to these Terms.
3. Medical, Mental Health, and Professional Disclaimer (Not Medical, Therapy, or Legal Advice)
The Services and Products are provided for educational and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice. We know that parenting high-needs and neurodivergent households can involve complex medical and educational systems, and we aim to be supportive and practical—but we are not a replacement for licensed professionals.
Not Medical Advice: The Regulated Bridge and its representatives are not providing medical advice. We do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, diagnosis, treatment, medications, or health-related decisions.
Not Mental Health Treatment: The Regulated Bridge is not providing psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and does not provide crisis services. If you believe you may be experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency room.
Not Legal Advice / No Attorney-Client Relationship: While we provide educational advocacy support and information related to school systems and educational planning, we are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or representation. No attorney-client relationship is created. If you need legal advice, please consult a qualified attorney in your jurisdiction.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and results. You understand and agree that you are using the Site, Services, and Products at your own discretion and risk.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to the "Bridge Journal: Daily Reflection," coaching materials, sensory regulation protocols, de-escalation frameworks, text, graphics, logos, worksheets, templates, videos, audio, and software) are owned by The Regulated Bridge and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and any purchased or provided materials for your personal, non-commercial use only, unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
Restrictions / No Unauthorized Use: You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download (except where expressly permitted), store, transmit, sell, license, rent, lease, transfer, or exploit any content or materials from the Site or Services without our prior express written permission.
Protected Program Materials (Including Blueprints, Scripts, and Audits): Without limiting the above, you understand that The Regulated Bridge’s proprietary materials include (as applicable) Household Blueprints, the Script Bag, and any audio-based specialist audits (including recordings, transcripts, summaries, analyses, and any derivative notes or deliverables). These materials are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, posted, published, resold, sublicensed, or used to create competing products or services.
Bridge Journal & Coaching Materials: The "Bridge Journal" and any proprietary coaching/consulting tools, worksheets, resources, templates, and deliverables provided during Services are for your personal use only. You may not copy, scan, upload, share, resell, or redistribute them (including in any group, classroom, workplace, online community, file-sharing site, or AI/training dataset) without written permission.
Feedback: If you choose to submit suggestions, ideas, feedback, or testimonials, you agree we may use them to improve our Services. If you do not want your testimonial used publicly, please do not submit it as a testimonial or explicitly state your preference in writing.
5. Payments & Store (Squarespace; Pricing; Service Tiers)
Purchases may be made through our Squarespace store and/or other checkout options that may be made available from time to time. Payment processing and checkout functionality may be provided by Squarespace and its payment processing partners. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and purchase information.
Service Tiers (if offered/available at time of purchase):
Tier 1: Bridge Assessment — $497
Tier 2: Stabilization Blueprint — $3,497
Tier 3: 90-Day Intensives — $7,500
Tier 4: Support Circuit — $2,497
We may update tier details, deliverables, and availability from time to time. Any descriptions on sales pages, checkout pages, or in written onboarding materials are incorporated by reference.
Prices & Availability: Prices, offerings, and availability are subject to change at any time. We may correct pricing errors or inaccuracies even after an order is submitted.
Taxes & Shipping: If applicable, taxes and shipping/handling will be calculated at checkout or otherwise disclosed to you before purchase completion.
6. Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy
We aim to be clear and fair, while also honoring the time and energy that goes into preparing deliverables and fulfilling orders—especially because many of our clients are navigating high-needs realities where plans can change quickly.
A. Coaching/Consulting Services — Compassionate Cancel Policy
Our coaching/consulting services follow our Compassionate Cancel Policy. Our primary service model is call-less. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, Services are provided asynchronously (not via scheduled calls). Because this model relies on protected time blocks for review, auditing, mapping, and implementation support, cancellation and refund rules are tied to work allocation rather than meeting times.
B. High-Needs Crises — “Pause or Pivot” Protocol
If your household hits a high-needs crisis (for example: hospitalization, acute medical event, sudden caregiving disruption, or a similar major destabilizer), you may request support through our “Pause or Pivot” protocol so we can determine the most appropriate next step (such as a pause, timeline adjustment, or scope pivot, depending on your tier and what’s already in motion).
To request a Pause or Pivot, use this form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeeG3TAmzRpijfNlCICV_h6BBQjijnRFFHBrfe5TMhOsbPkhA/viewform?usp=header
C. Cancellation / Reschedule (If Any Live Sessions Are Offered)
If a Service includes a live session (only if explicitly stated in writing), the following applies unless your signed agreement states otherwise:
Cancellation / Reschedule Window: At least 24 hours’ notice is required.
Late Cancellations / No-Shows: Less than 24 hours’ notice and no-shows may be charged in full and/or counted as used.
D. Digital Products (Downloads)
Due to the nature of digital products (including downloads and any digital version of the "Bridge Journal"), all digital sales are final and non-refundable, unless required otherwise by applicable law.
E. Physical Products
Damaged or Defective Items: If your physical item arrives damaged or defective, please email us at info@theregulatedbridge.com within seven (7) days of delivery with your order information and photos of the damage/defect. We will review and, if approved, provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Other Returns: Unless otherwise stated on the product page or required by law, we do not accept returns for physical products that are not damaged/defective.
F. Service Tier Refunds
Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, Services (including Tier 1–Tier 4 offerings) are generally non-refundable once work has begun, deliverables have been released, or access has been provided (including access to portals, folders, templates, audits, blueprints, or scripts). If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us promptly.
7. User Conduct
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm others or interfere with the Site’s operation. You are prohibited from:
Using the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, accounts, or networks connected to the Site.
Using the Site to transmit or upload any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
Engaging in harassment, abuse, threats, or harmful conduct toward The Regulated Bridge, its representatives, or other users.
Using the Site to collect or harvest personal information about others without permission.
Interfering with, disabling, overburdening, damaging, or impairing the Site, including through automated means (such as bots, scrapers, or spiders) without our express written permission.
8. Communication, Call-less Architecture, and Technology
A. Call-less Model (No Scheduled Calls)
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, our service delivery model is call-less, meaning:
Support is provided asynchronously via the Bridge Link (Google Chat and/or Voxer), not by scheduled Zoom or phone calls.
We do not offer scheduled Zoom/phone calls as part of standard delivery.
You are responsible for checking messages, reviewing deliverables, and implementing at a pace that matches your capacity and the agreed scope.
B. Signal Hours
Asynchronous support via the Bridge Link is available during Signal Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (provider’s local time), excluding holidays and announced closures. Response times may vary based on volume and the nature of the request, and messages outside Signal Hours will be addressed during the next available Signal Hours window.
C. Technology Used
You understand that service delivery may include access to or use of:
a Google Sites Portal (for resources, progress tracking, or delivery navigation), and
dedicated Google Drive folders (for document sharing, audits, blueprints, scripts, and other deliverables).
You are responsible for maintaining access to the required technology (including internet access and compatible devices) and for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share portal or folder access outside your household/team unless we explicitly approve it in writing.
D. 48-hour “Signal Check” Consultation Window (Discovery Only)
If offered, a 48-hour Signal Check is a short, temporary discovery window intended to help both parties decide fit and next steps. It does not establish an ongoing strategist-client relationship, does not guarantee ongoing availability, and does not convert into a long-term engagement unless and until you complete purchase/onboarding (and/or sign an additional agreement) for an applicable Tier or service offering.
9. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
A. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will The Regulated Bridge, its owners, contractors, or employees be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site, Services, or Products, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, loss of data, or replacement costs, even if foreseeable and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Regulated Bridge’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, Services, Products, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to The Regulated Bridge for the applicable Services or Products giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or $100, if greater).
B. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Regulated Bridge and Kara Prevo from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) your violation of these Terms; (ii) your misuse of the Site, Services, or Products; (iii) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or (iv) your content or communications submitted through the Site (if applicable).
9. Governing Law (State of Residency)
All matters relating to the Site and these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where Kara Prevo resides (without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision), except where such choice is prohibited by applicable law.
10. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
